Oh yeah... I have a book coming out soon, which means I have to do all the things, such as revealing the cover.
So, here it is. The cover for the final book in War on the Gods, illustrated by the amazing Gabrielle Ragusi:
This book was hard for me. I struggled BADLY with my mental health during the writing process, and there was often a voice in the back of my head telling me that I wasn't going to be able to give these characters the ending they deserve.
I'm happy to report that I believe I did give them the ending they deserve.
No book is perfect, but I'm happy with this finale. For me, it's heartbreaking and tragic and romantic all at the same time.
It made me cry (hard) when I wrote it, because I drew on my own life experiences in loss and unrequited love to do so. It was a cathartic experience - one I'm so grateful for.
But I'm also happy to be over with it. I have so many more stories to tell, and so little time to tell them in!
I hope this ending is satisfying for you. I hope you love it as much as I do.
At any rate, I'll see you later; I'm off to continue working on my next few books. They're already consuming my life as much as War on the Gods did for so many years <3
